We are pleased to announce that in association with the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Highland Council we will be delivering a Football Heritage Project over the next year that will offer support to elderly residents in the local community of the Highlands & Islands and we are looking for as many people as possible to become involved in shaping this special project. The project will focus on gathering stories, memories and photos that focus on the history of football in the Highlands & Islands. All stories, memories and photos are welcome and we would encourage people to contribute amateur and junior football heritage too. We want to bring the local community together to share their memories and love for both football and sport. We will be looking to kick off this new and exciting project with a Launch Event on the 20th June 2017 from 1:30pm – 3:30pm at the Global Energy Stadium (Club Stadium). This launch event will offer guests a chance to learn more about the project and also offer a chance to ask questions. If you are interested in being involved in the project either by contributing some stories, memories or even in becoming a volunteer then we would encourage you to join us at the launch event. There will of course also be tea, coffee and biscuits on offer on the day!
We look forward to seeing you on the day and in the mean time feel free to contact us with any queries at:
Heritage Project display is now available to view in the main reception at Ross County F.C, our launch day at the home match against Hibernian was well received with plenty of positive comments and feedback sent our way.
